In 1987 four young women from the Rio Grande Valley had a vision while attending Texas Tech University. They established
Kappa Delta Chi with the purpose to help each other and other women become leaders and role models. Kappa Delta Chi is a way
of life. For some of us it didn't stop at graduation or when we became alumnae. You see, being a KDChi is not
just something you sign up for like any other club or organization, it is a life time committment.

North Texas Alumni Wins Alumni Region of the Year!
Each year the National Alumni Association awards the region that has done
the most oustanding programming and development for its memebers. Recently at the 2006 National Kappa Delta Chi Conference,
the award was presented to the North Texas Alumni Region!
Dana Ortega-Guier and Raquel Perez were on hand to receive the award!
The North Texas Region has a new Executive Director! Welcome to Cindy Perez, Upsilon Chapter Alumna. Cindy
is from Dallas, Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University. Stay tuned for upcoming events!
